Every child deserves a sense of comfort, warmth and a safe place to sleep-and yet, right here in our community, too many children go to sleep without a bed of their own. This Mother’s Day, you can help make bedtime better for a child in need. Through The Green Chair Project's Sweeter Dreams program, we provide new beds, cribs, and cozy bedding to children across Wake County. It’s more than a good night’s sleep-it’s the foundation for healthy development, success in school, and brighter tomorrows. Last year with the help of incredible donors like you, we were able to serve hundreds of Wake County children with a new bed or crib and bedding of their own. The need is still tremendous, and we have set our goal in 2026 to serve 1,200 more children.
